sometimes i only feel creative at night, but i have been working to feel this way about my mornings too.

On Friday, I read about the historic "Supermoon" that would become available on Sunday, and so I made certain I would think about going to the city to capture something about it. I did not know if I was going, until Sunday afternoon.

Woke up early and since I could not get it out of my mind the entire morning, I decided to go for it and left the house around 3:30 PM. Got off the Archives and traveled by foot, where I took some photos along the way.

Uncertain on where to camp, I decided to make my way towards the Lincoln Memorial to wait for the moon. This is an image from yesterday, before the moon, where I took advantage of my surrounding. That fading light drew my attention to the reflection pool, and it was glass.

My driving force lately has been to shoot enough so that at night I can have photos to edit. If I do happen to want a photo, I have decided to just use my phone (this can be ignored of course lol). So during the week, after work it is not really necessary for me to take pictures, unless I get the urge to do so. Otherwise, I just go home without feeling anxious to shoot anymore.

Of course, I do have photos I can be editing, but sometimes the feeling I get is to capture something new vs. editing. And so the struggle of mine lately has been to treat my edits like I AM capturing something new, because how you edit CAN transform the image into something new. haha #artistrestriction

So yea, I know I should be on some other editing obligations...
