what a good friday even though i was tired by the end. earlier this week, i had been rolling my lack of sleep over and after shooting on friday afternoon, i was done
did not get a chance to edit a lot last night, like planned, but instead took that time to rest and sleep.
before laying down, i had worked on this infrared photograph from yesterday.
got a busy weekend ahead as you can imagine, but i could not ask for a better use of my time.

Nikon D90 || Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 || Hoya R720 Filter || 1 sec • f/1.8 • iso 800
This time around I did know the iso was at 800. My first shot was taken at iso 100, but since I wanted to capture some of the flag, the 15 sec long exposure was too long and not useful at that setting. So I increased the iso as a way to be able to minimize the exposure time.
It is amusing to think about, but we photographers are chemists with time :) I feel this way even more now when I am now shooting with my tripod. Everywhere I go, I feel like I am carrying my studio around with me. And in a sense, I am. Not only is my process being fine tuned, but the tripod is helping me slow down and compose more tighter. More importantly, I know now what it means to #chasethelight. But in a real sense, I am #chasinglife
So, I have been refocusing all my attention to my art. Even when I am doing nothing, I am thinking about it. Even though it is very tiring and exhausting, I remind myself that I will be pursing art until the end. So forgive me while I continue to recluse myself and work to better my roots.
