At this point in the morning, the sun had risen pass the horizon line, since the intense soft glow from before was gone. I processed the image with a cool effect, as a way to highlight the cold morning in midst of warming up.
After this pic, I called it quits and headed home. I was only interested in the sunrise and this was more of a trial run to encourage more long exposure shooting during the morning and evenings. I also took a mental note in how the light transitioned as the sun moved beyone the horizon line.
I look forward to more "camping shots" and am now aiming to provide additional time in my morning commute during the week to shoot more sunrises before heading down to work. This is becoming addicting (my mother did say I needed a new hobby lol).
