As I continue to dive into my archives and bring out more content this month, I am finding photos that I have forgotten about, but recall vaguely taking. Here is a photo from 2010. When I took this, I had recently returned from Japan, after studying abroad for five months, and was on my way to a happy hour event being hosted by the non-profit Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC) at Local 16 in U-Street.
What fascinates me about this image is the lady waiting for the bus. The soft light and color tones really stand out to me. In the foreground, the shadows captivate and helps lead the eye throughout the rest of the photo on the right.
