in the midst of last minute remarks
before
again
onward
home
the cold wind blows
passes
right through
this hooded jacket,
black-grey steel,
wool
casually warm
on foot
never overheat
the ratios right
a Thursday night ending
but from the cars
continuing to rush by
the wind and sounds that goes along,
a Friday night beginning
alive
on this night
headlights froze
by the frame
of steel Americana
and all along
the wind, cold
carried me through
home though

I have been using the T-setting on this camera and so far it has been very useful. This feature is like the Blub setting, where you can hold the shutter open, but the T feature, allows the shutter to stay open without a cable release. With T, you just release the shutter and the aperture stays open and only closes when you release the shutter again.
Before switching to my Olympusflex, I plan to walk near Chinatown and see what familiar places I can capture iconically. From there, may do NoMA next and then somewhere near the Capital. I hope to travel in the near future and so this practice is much needed, since normally once you travel to a new location for a visit, you rarely go back.
