Don't mind me, just here to share a quick, guerrilla style portrait session shoot with the lovely Jelani!

This only took 10 minutes or so, but what happened is I was shooting my last roll of Ilford SFX 200 yesterday during the nice sun out, but came back into the office with still 10 - 12 frames remaining. Naturally, since I wanted to develop the roll that same day, I looked for something else to shoot and fortunately, my colleague was available for a quick shoot in the sun!

In development: I looked online and read that diluting D76 1:1 offered finer grain. So far it has been looking nice, but am annoyed that I messed up the exposure here, since I underexposed by 1, 2-stops. Either way, it still amazed me how much detail I did find in the shadows, since I thought it would all be gone.

You will notice some minor scratches here and there as well. When I did the photo flo, I found that my negative picked up a lot of small dirt of rust from the sink. I did my best to remove them, but will make sure to ensure a cleaner wash next time.

Fortunately, the scratch are not a bother and provide a nice textural element.

This quick session was fun and will need to do more of these, so will find a way to do so!
