i am not afraid

Minolta Autocord || Ilford 400 HP5 Plus (Rodinal 1:25 Pushed to 1600)
_____
I pushed this to 1600 using Rodinal developer. Shaun helped me calculate the measurements for the chemicals and with the temperature around 73-74 fahrenheit, I adjusted the push to 11-mins (Shaun told me to do 12-mins at 68 fahrenheit).
Needless to say, I really love this process (just need to push myself to do more! let me chug that Rodinal Shaun!). I shot wide open here and I am really digging the narrow focus that was achieved at f/3.5 with my Minolta Autocord and love how it captured the foreground, where the light is intense and beautiful with the soft gradation of the lightest value! I also love the deep dark shadows on the trees in the background. They stand out like columns and help separate the background from the foreground, since I am attracted to their shadow details and want to stare.
Now that I think about it, there is a roll from the Mamiyaflex that I have yet to process. That one I will need to pull to 400, since it is a 3200 Ilford. But that will have to wait, I have another roll from Deep Creek that I have to push to 1600, so will look forward to that this weekend!
