Mamiyaflex Automat A || Olympus Zuiko F.C. 75mm f/3.5 • Ilford Delta 3200 (D76 1:4 pulled processed to 400)
_____
The Mamiyaflex Automat A. Very sexy camera and the button shutter makes it a keeper in my books. I have a roll of film in it now that I need to finish (today hopefully), but have allowed myself to be reclused by nature.
So 9 out of 12 frames that I liked and thought worth sharing. In editing I did not change the clarity or sharpness, but I did tweek the exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, and blacks on a few, but not by any drastic means as I am accustom to. I need to test this camera further with other film, but I am loving the ease in use for this camera. It was pointed out to me, but I noticed it in confirmation right away, that the focusing knob and the film winder are distanced from each other well enough to ensure an easy and smooth handling with one hand. The design is similar on the Olympusflex B, but the distance for those two knobs on that camera is a bit too tight, which makes the transition from film winding to focusing a bit awkward.
What do you think of the quality? Keep in mind, some of it is due to the fact that the film was pulled to 400 (from 3200, that is quite the overexposure at a 3 stop difference!).
