Notice all that detail? This is possible because the negative is a 4 x 5 sheet of film. Ansel Adams, and some of the greats from back when, used the large format as well, but shot on 8 x 10 negatives (!). I have yet to shoot on a 8 x 10 camera, but you best believe it is on my bucket list!
With that said, I never saw myself collecting vintage cameras, but this year (i blame Shaun lol) I became very fascinated with their mechanism and the quality of their lens. My aim now is to improve my creative process with these cameras (my craft) and I plan to utilize that knowledge to benefit my digital photography. I want to offer my services on a commercial level, but I still need major improvements in both visualization and execution. Little by little I am seeing great improvement however and as a way to continue with this growth, I am planning to write a detail post for each camera this summer and so I have a lot of new material coming soon! Of course, I will continue to post daily as usual, but the main point that I want to make to my readers is that film photography is here to stay! "Everyone loves a good comeback story!"

All these cameras, with the exception of the Canon AE-1 Program, do not need a battery to operate! sugoi desuyo! So steampunk :)
