I am really enjoying the process of editing negative scans in Lightroom. Returning to film is really helping me refine my process and therefore my overall craftsmanship as well. With the amount of time I am spending scanning, I now know moving forward that I should scan my negatives within 24 to 72 hours after having them developed. Making this a major part of my process should help me shoot less and focus more on quality vs. quantity. Needless to say, I will be saving for a scanner in the future, but for now I will use what is available and free at the moment. Commuting home late can be a bummer, but it is definitely worth it when I get home and explore the negatives on my screen ^^
