This photo represents an accumulation of stages, or at least that is how I view it, in my progress or lack of. Regardless, I am here.
Lately, I have been shooting film and I have been channeling the majority of my time in developing it. It is awesome to say the least, even though it is taking up all my spare time after work (^^). I had forgotten how much I enjoy shooting film, the thrill of knowing that I only have a few frames is such an indescribable feeling for me, and I always found shooting in black and white a great challenge (i dunno, the relationship with the light and darkness is much more personal i feel).
I never could shake the habit of shooting in black and white that even to this day with my digital camera I shoot in black and white (of course i shoot raw, so can convert them to color once i view them in lightroom). Thinking back on how much film photography has helped me as an artist, as a way to continue with my growth (never stop learning, never stop keeping yourself accountable), at this stage in my artist career I will be learning how to develop in color. It should be interesting to see how much this will influence my digital photography once it is all said and done.
So this is the new path that lays in front of me and the path I will follow.
